Curatio International Foundation (CIF), is a not-for profit, non-governmental organization founded in Georgia in 1994. Since establishment, CIF has implemented a large number of research projects and provided consultancy services to various organizations, agencies and governments, which contributed to the reforms of health sector in the countries of Southern Caucasus, Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
CIF contributes to reform public health system with the belief that health, more than any other aspects, determines a quality of community life. A multidisciplinary team of policy analysts, medical doctors and social psychologists, has carried out numerous research projects in and outside of Georgia focusing on health care systems, and its elements, population’s health needs, population’s access to health care services, economic burden of tobacco use in the new independent states, knowledge, attitude, practice study of community members and health providers, rapid assessment of the health sector, etc
The guiding principles executed by the organization are to:
• Make research agenda/focus tailored to the health sector reform needs of the country;
• Involve broad range of stakeholders in research planning and implementation with the aim to increase the ownership and utilization of research results.
• Use research-evidence in policy advocacy and increase utilization of research results by the policy makers.
• While carrying out the research projects contribute to the national research capacity strengthening.

• Health Care Information & Management Systems;
• Reproductive Health;
• HIV & AIDS;
• Project & Program Design, Implementation Management, Monitoring & Evaluation.

CIF experts and organizational knowledge are constantly being updated, which can be attributed to a tradition of cooperating with such important global research and consulting networks as: Global Health Council (GHC), Alliance for Health Policy and Systemic Research (HPSR), System Wide Effects of Fund (SWEF), Technical Cooperation Network (TCN).
